How-To: Shopping-Fehler vermeiden

Tipp Nummer 2: Stelle dir folgende Fragen

Tipp Nummer 3: Geh alleine einkaufen

Tipp Nummer 4: Beschreibungen / Rezensionen lesen

Tipp Nummer 5: Videos anschauen

How I Escape Winter Depression

As the season is now changing into the colder and darker days of the year I thought I would tell you my tricks how I keep myself motivated and mostly happy. I am definitely everything but a winter person. – I hate the cold weather, the darkness and basically everything autumn/winter represents – of course excluding christmas and my birthday. There was a time I wasn’t able to even leave the house except for school during winter time, I was unmotivated and I also wanted to be alone the whole time. One day back then  I decided that I had to change something as this life wasn’t worth living anymore. The whole day cuddled up in bed may sound awesome but not if you’re doing it three weeks straight.
I started looking up some tips and tricks to get my life back together and to prevent myself from doing this again when the season starts transitioning. I tried out all the tips and now I know what is working best for me so I will give you a nice insight into my life. Weiterlesen

I Needed A Change

Many people try to change their look when spring is coming around – so am I. I wanted to cut off my hair for the past two months but never really had the guts to really do it. I was so sick of my hair and the color and also that it had been dry like the Sahara and that’s why I decided to go and cut it off – no excuses.
I went to the coiffeur I will always trust in – namely Doppelhofer & Steininger. It may not be the cheapest but it is so worth it. Back in the days I hated going to the coiffeur but as soon as I discovered them I love it and want to come back all the time. I just love their work I always come out happier than before. I am always like do whatever you want and I never got disappointed.

I told my Coiffeur – Matze – that I want to cut my hair into a bob and he was like okay let me show you how it will look like and I was like okay perfect. I didn’t expected him to take the scissors and cut off my hair straight away.  I was a little bit shocked first but immediately fell in love with the new length. He added some nice highlights and to make it extra ashy he topped my hair with a nice lilac tone. I wasn’t expecting the result to be that amazing. Also I have already be washing it and I love styling my new hair it is so easy. I may not be able to make a ponytail but I can through it from left to right and vice versa and always look perfect.

98462I have to say I love it. I am so impressed with my new hair – it was just one of the best decisions ever made.
I just can recommend anyone that want to change something in their lives – whether it is hair, look, fashion or weight – just go out and do it. You will feel so much better afterwards you will feel free and also so much happier for trying out something completely new. I was so shy and inconspicuous when I was younger. I never wanted to talk to anybody even my friends I have always been the one at the party sitting in the back and watching everyone having fun. Now I am just happy with who I am and not complaining about how god made me. Also I am always thinking that everything is happening for a reason – even if you don’t know what for one day you’ll realize it.

My Acne Story + Tips

The last summer hasn’t been the best. I don’t know why but my skin was breaking out so badly that I had been sitting at home crying the whole time. Mainly it has been on my forehead and my mouth area and I really tried so much to get rid of it. I was rejecting seeing a doctor such a long time and that brings us to my first tip:

1. See a doctor:
As I was rejecting it that long and trying to find a solution by myself I had been wasting so much time that would have helped my skin to get healthy earlier. I was using the wrong products and made the mistake many people are making and that was to exaggerate the use of products so my skin had no time to heal or breath.
My doctor made an analysis of my skin type and gave me some acne products, as my acne had been really bad. If your skin isn’t that bad you may just get some recommendations but it is better hearing it from a real doctor than by Dr. Google.

2. Less is More:
I know when you see a pimple coming you want to do anything to get rid of it but don’t use too much. Your skin might react in the total opposite direction as you get more pimples or your skin will get used to the ingredients and won’t help anymore. Your skin needs time where you don’t do anything at all except rinsing it off with water. I know I am not a specialist but I will give you the tips that helped me overcoming my crisis.

3. Don’t squeeze them:
This one was the hardest for me to fulfill, as it is so much fun and so satisfying to see what is coming out of your pores. Who else is like me? Thumbs up for this satisfaction. Really try to keep your hands away from your face and don’t squeeze it will come out by itself or disappear completely. When you push them your pores will get wider or in the worst case your face will get so many scars you won’t be able to get rid of anymore.

4. Healing process takes its time:
Many want to see results from one day to the other but it is the same in the gym. Your body needs time to transform and that’s the same with your skin it needs time to renew itself. Try to eat healthy, sleep enough and fulfill my tips and after three to four weeks you will see what time can bring.

I also had been testing some homeopathic pills that made my skin explode even more. I was so unhappy not feeling happy anymore. I tried to cover it with make up but even that doesn’t help and as I wasn’t able to not squeeze them I have now some scars on my face. I went to see a doctor and she changed my birth control pill and gave me some acne treatments to use everyday at home. After three months my skin now feels amazing I can finally laugh again and if some time a pimple shows up I am not making any drama anymore as it is normal to have one from time to time. Another important point is to think that other people don’t see it that badly so don’t overreact and keep on smiling.

I hope I was able to help you and maybe some of you will adopt some of this tips into their daily routine.

Rocking Firenze with Style

Last city we visited in Tuscany was Firenze – gorgeous city. I, personally thing Siena is the most beautiful city in Tuscany but Firenze also has a lot of charge. My boyfriend said that he would move there immediately if he could speak italian.

As we were wandering around a lot trying to find all the sights and some nice spots, I needed to have an outfit that is stylish and comfortable at the same time. As the weather was amazing it also had to be on the summery side.
This dress, from Zara, was the best decision ever made. It isn’t too long, so it isn’t touching the ground cleaning everything up behind you and also it made me feel pretty sexy but not too much – if you know what I mean.
Also this kind of style with the free back and this pattern is absolutely trending right now.
Another bonus is that it isn’t expansive at all and the quality is amazing. I really have to say that Zara always gets my heart – it is definitely my favorite store in the entire world because quality and pricing are coordinating perfectly. (I am not sponsored!)

As our parking ticket was valid for two hours only, it wasn’t possible for us to explore everything, but we saw the main things. I will put some images here, so you can see a little bit of our trip.

I am so happy to finally be back on this page so I can update you guys regularly about my life. Also I am really enjoying my life right now, which hasn’t always been the case in the past.
